Karen Lynch > Updated info on Clara! I just found out (11/05/05) that she was rescued in Mississippi on 7/14/05. She was found by Doll Stanley at the restaurant covered in mange and very emaciated. This photo and the next photo show her. Apparently they had her for awhile prior to the hurricane and sent her up with Strayrescue to make room for dogs they were rescuing from the hurricane. Poor poor Clara, these photos made me cry.

Karen Lynch > This is our hurricane Katrina foster dog, Claradoll. She is pretty beat up, but with TLC she is really healing. She came to live with us 9/16/05. She is from Mississippi. When she first arrived, she slept for 2 solid days. Now, she is well rested and as you can see, she is feeling lots better!

Karen Lynch > She had terrible skin problems and as you can see, her skin was so saggy and swollen. Now she is on medicine and her skin is healing nicely.

Karen Lynch > Clara has learned she loves toys!! She plays with them for hours. These new photos were taken 10/27/05.

Karen Lynch > You can see she is looking so much better! She is missing hair on her back because she is being treated for heartworm and they had to shave that area to give her the shots. Ouch, they hurt!
Karen Lynch > 11/20/05. She is looking so much better and she is now HEARTWORM FREE!
